in the 20 y<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">rs</hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi>. in w<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi> both offices were committed
to my care, He has counted me worthy to
serve <emotion>my tenderly beloved Choir,</emotion> altho' in 
weakness, upwards of 40 y<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>. in which time
I have experienced much grace & mercy at
his hands. He only knows, <emotion>how often I
have wept at his feet over my poverty &
insufficiency,</emotion> beseeching him to instruct &
counsel me, that in the service of my d<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.
S<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi>. I might always act according to his
mind, but when I consider, that much more
could have been done, than I have perform'd,
<emotion>I stand ashamed</emotion> before my dear Sav<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. as the
greatest Sinner.

him sufficiently for having drawn me to 
himself from my tender infancy with
Cords of love, and bringing me to his people,
but when I come to him, I shall bring him
my thank offering, & adore him to all eterni <add>-ty</add>
