he evidenced the reality of his faith, &
the uncommonly great divine sup-
port which he experienced. Two days
before his departure, <emotion>he desired the 2
last chapters of the Book of Revelation
to be read to him interspersed with sing-
ing;</emotion> & in the last night of his life, when
his voice was thought to have already
left him, he revived & sang: "My soul
don't dely, &c, &, The souls that believe
in Paradide live &c. No.435 <date>Aug. 22</date><hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript"><date>d</date></hi></hi>
in the morning before 10 o'clock, it
pleased our d<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi> Lord, to send his holy
angel, to convey the ransomed soul of
this his faithful servant into his eter-
nal rest, & thus release him from all
sorrow for ever. His age was 66 years
& 4 months.
