how many fervent prayers I offered up.
Notwithstanding these trials, which
I must confess were needful for me,
my gracious Lord conferred many
blessings upon me. Febry 13th I had
the favour to be recd into the Congn
This brought me low in the dust be-
fore him as I felt myself exceedingly
unworthy
& more so when Set. 8th
following I had the unspeakable fa-
vour to partake of the Lord's Supper for
the first time. Gratitude for mercies
recd excited in me a wish to serve
our dear Saviour
which impulse grew
stronger by each enjoyment of the Holy
Sacrament. This I however kept to
myself thinking it almost presumptu-
ous in such a poor worm to think of
becoming a servant of Christ. The last
year of my abode in Neudietendorf
I found myself much happier than
in the 2 first, altho' in the situation
of a day labourer. I pressed however
for permission to return home to

Register.
