With regard to our late S<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi> character
it is better Known, than we are able to
describe it. She was employed as Co-helper
to <persname>S</persname><hi rend="superscript"><persname>r</persname></hi><persname> Anna Rosd</persname>, and Choir Labores of the
great Girls, upwards of 4 years in which
office she distinguished herself as an active
handmaid of Jesus whose delight and plea..
sure it was to serve him.
<date>June 18</date><hi rend="superscript"><date>th</date></hi><date> 1798</date> she was married to our late
dear <persname>B</persname><hi rend="superscript"><persname>r</persname></hi><persname> Chambers</persname>, who had already been
appointed manager of the Cong<hi rend="superscript">n</hi> Shop.
In this situation she was peculiarly well
qualified to be a useful helpmate to her
husband. Her diligence, faithfulness and
close attention to the Drapers Shop, are
well Known; her great assiduity and con..
stant application to business, were more
than her Friends wished for; for it was
very perceptible her consitution was
unequal to the fatigue; of which she
was fully convinced, when too late
and she often regretted the neglect of
her own health. <date>August 28</date><hi rend="superscript"><date>th</date></hi><date> 1801</date>
