I had such a Manifestation of our Sav<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> in his suffering from in <gap>Spirch</gap> as
if he had seen him ????? bodily Eyes, w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi> melted him <add>me</add> into Tears of Love &
tenderness. He removd to <placename>Leominster</placename> in order to enjoy the more special 
Fellowships of the Cong<hi rend="superscript">n</hi> I was <gap>Reced</gap> in the Cong<hi rend="superscript">n</hi> in <date>August 64</date>, but not admitted
to the Com<hi rend="superscript">n</hi> till <date>July 63</date>. during w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi> time of waiting he had [muornering]?
in his Mind; & being engaged <add>?????</add> w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> merely Natural people in Mr. Nelnos?
Busyness
, he went aside & cast himself at our Savrs feet [??]mplord him
to show him what was his hindrance, who manifested it to him that it
was <add>his</add> own Fault, his heart was grown Dry & indifferent towards him, w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi> he
acknowledgd w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> a basem? & soon after was admitted to partake of that Grace.
In <date>Jan. 64</date>. he was Marr? to his late Wife w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> whom he lived in
a Comfortable & happy manner. She has always ??? enjoyd the
fellowships & blessings in the Cong<hi rend="superscript">n</hi> while without interruption.
He became a Widower in <date>July 81</date>. this alteration affected him much
finding himself so lonely & often thought he sho<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> <add>not</add> be long after her, & last
<add>winter</add> he bgan to fail pretty much, & ab[?] [Candlemas] greed incapable of Loving
his work, altho he had struggled w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> it longer than co<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> have been expected.
During his Sickness <add>was</add> in a Dropsieal Disorder; it has been evident that he has
Legitimated himself as a faithful Serv. where he has work'd both at
<placename>Paesteign</placename> & <placename>Leominster</placename> he having used much kindness & assistance from
them. he was of a plain blunt but very honest disposition. but our Sav<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>
was his object & his heart eleasd to him, & most pleasd w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> what honourd him.
In his heavy Swiftness he earnestly desires to be desolved & to be at home
w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> his Lord. He was diligently (?) visited, & many Verses sung by him for
for which he was <sic>thankfull</sic>  <corr>thankful</corr>; on the <date>5</date><hi rend="superscript"><date>th</date></hi>. in the afternoon as his dissolution drew
near, some Brn & Srs came to him, & in a feeling Prayer recommended him
to our Sav<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> for the Accomplishment of all his thoughts of Peace in him & with him
& in the Peace of Jesus Christ the blessing of the Congrn was imparted <add>to him</add> & in the
Evening he departed happily to his Everlasting Rest.
