according to the day & did not disappoint
my prayers for courage & resolution to
oppose that spirit which would hinder
the views of my d<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi> Lord. Having purged
his floor, Christ & his Spirit bore the sway,
& we could yet feel that God was nigh with
us to bless us. Willingly did we give all
the glory to him. In <date>1796</date> I was ordained
