here, support my weakness, & grant my
conduct may bespeak a lowly & devoted
spirit! <gap></gap>I found that in order to be a
faithful Servant in the house of God,
an implicit faith & confidence in him

nanted not only with my dear B<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></hi><hi rend="superscript">n</hi> but
with my beloved Savior to be his faithful
servant, & to abide by the word of his
cross which in my childhood already had
captured my heart. <date>April 27</date><hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript"><date>t</date></hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"><date>h</date></hi><date> 1782</date> I re-
