indeed a Criminal, but Jesus the Saviour of Criminals
has had mercy upon me, and forgiven me my sins, 
and this is the reason why <emotion>I appear and am contented.
The whole Court was astonished,</emotion> and the Judge arose from
his seat, and called her into an adjoining room, telling 
her, that if she would say before the Court, she was out of
her mind, when she threw the Child into the river, he
would see to acquit her ---------- she thanked him, but
excused herself from complying with his kind proposal
it being against her conscience to [?] say so, adding that
she was very willing to die, for she knew for certain
that she should go and live with our dear Saviour. <emotion>The
Judge was amazed and disappointed</emotion> and returned
with her into Court, where he soon after pronounced
her Sentence which was, that she should be beheaded.
During the few weeks of her imprisonment, she
grew visible in grace and in confidence to our d<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></hi>
Saviour, and was continually visited by B<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">rn</hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi> & S<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">rs</hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi>
who sung with her in the Ordinary's room, and 
she got such an Idea and knowledge of the B<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">rn's</hi></hi>

begged as a particular favor, that all her visitors
