manner at the feet of my d<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Sav<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.: I spread
before him as the poorest sinner, entreated
his <sic>forgivness</sic>  <corr>forgiveness</corr> for every thing, which his
dear eyes might have seen amiss in me
& <emotion>I felt in an especial manner his rich</emotion>
<sic><emotion>forgivness</emotion></sic><emotion>  </emotion><corr><emotion>forgiveness</emotion></corr><emotion> and comfort.</emotion>
2. The present y<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. of <date>1796</date> has been remark
-ably blessed to me, when I call to mind
with <emotion>humble shame & bowedness</emotion> the grace 
bestowed upon me just 50 y<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">rs</hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi> ago, when
our Sav<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. graciously manifested himself
to me, and forgave me all my sins, w<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi>
grace he has never failed to renew to my
h<hi rend="superscript">rt</hi>., whenever I craved a new look from
him. This y<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. is also remarkable to me,
as tis just 25 y<hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript">rs</hi></hi> since I came to the d<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>.
