true Helpman of our Joy in the Choir. In his 8. Yearly
Service among the Boys, he was as <sic>Liturgio</sic> <corr>Liturgie</corr> as he was
<sic>allert</sic> <corr>alert</corr> & his blessed Memory will <sic>allways</sic> <corr>always</corr> remain among
them. Since 1. Year past he got a Attack of a <sic>Plethorick</sic> <corr>Plethoric</corr> <unclear>Spitting</unclear>
& by that means his <sic>Strenght</sic> <corr>Strength</corr> decreaseth by & by consideribly.
The <date>Month of March</date> he became Choir-<sic>Disceiple</sic> <corr>Disciple</corr> the first Time,
about that he expressd himself in the following Verses:

<unclear>Zous s<hi rend="superscript">ed</hi>.</unclear> Ach du allerbestes, treustes Herze!
Ach blick freundlich auf mich her

doch dein theures Gottes Blut Blut

Was im schwachen Muthe ligt,
Mit dem Marter-Bilde Jesu trösten
Dass das ganz mein Herz besiegt;

He was respecting his Activity <add>& <sic>chearfullness</sic> <corr>cheerfulness</corr></add> a Sick Person of a <sic>uncomon</sic> <corr>uncommon</corr>
Condition, & did't observe much of his Sickness himself.
By his last Enjoyment of the holy Sacrament he was quite
taken w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>. Joy & said any among the rest: <hi rend="underline">O mein trauter</hi>
begehre! As now his departing could be expected every
Moment, then some Brethren were ordered to keep
a continual Liturgie, whereby he many times fell in
himself in a heart <sic>stricking</sic> <corr>striking</corr> Manner. He remained
present to himself to the last Moment & sincere
from his whole Heart towards every Brother who came
to see him, to the Minute when his noble <add>Soul</add> was to
depart from his Body under the Blessing of his
Choir, & happily went into the Arms of his Redeemer,
after he continued in this dying Life 24 Years 6. Months
& 10. Days.
