I was Born in the Year <hi rend="underline"><date>1704 May 4</date></hi>
at the half Way <sic>Hous</sic> <corr>House</corr> here Harlam on
<placename>Yorck Island</placename>. My Fathers Name was Mr. <unclear>ah.</unclear>
My Mothers Rabaca. My <hi rend="superscript">father</hi> frome <unclear>Fransch</unclear>
My Mother frome<placename> Holland.</placename>
In <placename>New Yorck</placename> I larned the Block makers trade
