By Means of these few Lines I will in Spirit convey my<br />
heartiest Salutation to my <abbr>d</abbr><hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript"><abbr>r</abbr></hi></hi><abbr>.</abbr> Aunt, &amp; also the affecting,<br />
yet at the same Time comfortable Account, that <abbr>y</abbr><hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript"><abbr>r</abbr></hi></hi> beloved<br />
Mother, our <abbr>d</abbr><hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript"><abbr>r</abbr></hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi> &amp; venerable Grand Mother has been softly &amp;<br />
happily <del>[illegible]</del> translated into the Arms &amp; Bosom of our<br />
dear Saviour. In her old age <emotion>she was serene &amp; respectable,<br />
<abbr>tho&#39;</abbr> in her own Eyes always quite poor &amp; lowly,</emotion> with a Heart <abbr>at,<br />
tatch&#39;d</abbr> to &amp; longing for her unseen Bridegroom; her <emotion>constant<br />
Sighs</emotion> were, that our <abbr>d</abbr><hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript"><abbr>r</abbr></hi></hi><hi rend="superscript"></hi> Saviour might besprinkle her poor&nbsp;<br />
Heart with his precious Blood, have Mercy upon her &amp; receive<br />
her graciously. Oft she uttered the Desire, that, if it pleased him,<br />
He might take her soon to himself. The Faithfulness &amp; simpli,<br />
city, which we perceived in her, gave us oft a deep Impression.<br />
He, who understands the Eyes Dropping &amp; the sick Heart&#39;s Throb,<br />
bing, has certainly accomplished the Desires of her Heart in a&nbsp;<br />
gracious Manner, according to her earnest Concern. Now she<br />
rests in his Wounds, &amp; is at home with the Lord for ever.<br />
Her last Sickness was of a short Duration. On <date>Whitsunday</date>,<br />
being at Church with <persname><abbr>M</abbr></persname><hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript"><persname><abbr>r</abbr></persname></hi></hi><persname> Carstens</persname>, she was seized with a<br />
Vomiting, which seemed to have arose from the riding in the<br />
Carriage; however it left a Faintness behind: she then be,<br />
sought our <abbr>Sav</abbr><hi rend="underline"><hi rend="superscript"><abbr>r</abbr></hi></hi> to grant her the Favour to spare her from a&nbsp;<br />
long &amp; tedious Sick-Bed; and even in this Respect he has<br />
granted her her Desire; for, she was for the most Part of the<br />
Time able to sit in her Chair, &amp; even to walk about a little<br />
in the House. Her Thoughts were directly Here, that her End was<br />
approaching, &amp; she possessed the Faculties of her Mind &amp; her Senses<br />
as perfect as before. Some Days before her Departure she gave<br />
