indeed a Criminal, but Jesus the Saviour of Criminals<br />
has had mercy upon me, and forgiven me my sins,&nbsp;<br />
and this is the reason why <emotion>I appear and am contented.<br />
The whole Court was astonished,</emotion> and the Judge arose from<br />
his seat, and called her into an adjoining room, telling&nbsp;<br />
her, that if she would say before the Court, she was out of<br />
her mind, when she threw the Child into the river, he<br />
would see to acquit her ---------- she thanked him, but<br />
excused herself from complying with his kind proposal<br />

she was very willing to die, for she knew for certain<br />
that she should go and live with our dear Saviour. <emotion>The<br />
Judge was amazed and disappointed</emotion> and returned<br />
with her into Court, where he soon after pronounced<br />
her Sentence which was, that she should be beheaded.<br />
During the few weeks of her imprisonment, she<br />
