I got into reasonings about the Holy Trinity and abundance of things<br />

who had been in <placename>London</placename> and <placename>Hampshire</placename> with the same family<br />
He <sic>beged</sic>&nbsp; <corr>begged</corr> my pardon for his misbheaviour some years ago and<br />
intreated me to marry him saying he had saved 300 Pounds in his<br />
Service. I wrote him an account of my awakening and imagined by his<br />
answer that a work of grace was begun in his heart - my Aunt died<br />
soon <sic>afer</sic>&nbsp; <corr>after</corr> and left me 270 Pounds besides valuable - - I non <abbr>conceivd</abbr><br />
the proud vain hope of converting him to our <abbr>Sav.</abbr><hi rend="superscript"><abbr>r</abbr></hi> and with this view<br />
gave my consent . . <abbr>tho</abbr> it often <abbr>occurd</abbr> to my mind Be ye not unequally<br />

of a Blood colour. . in his hand he held a ring which he threw<br />

between . . while I was looking a voice said to me you will<br />
be <sic>maried</sic>&nbsp; <corr>married</corr> - but soon separated - - the small star signifies a child<br />
the man who stands there is Our Lord Jesus Christ - - -<br />
his <sic>comming</sic>&nbsp; <corr>coming</corr> to <placename>Bristol</placename> left me no time to think . . we were<br />
<sic>maried</sic>&nbsp; <corr>married</corr> the <date>first of June 1775</date> and went to live at <placename>Bradford</placename><br />
in <placename>Wiltshire</placename> entering into the breiving Cruyness[?] - - - and Now<br />
