The following 2 pieces were found among
her papers:
My Seventieth yr. I closed in a particular
manner at the feet of my dr. Savr.: I spread
before him as the poorest sinner, entreated
his forgivness  forgiveness for every thing, which his
dear eyes might have seen amiss in me
& I felt in an especial manner his rich
forgivness  forgiveness and comfort.
2. The present yr. of 1796 has been remark
-ably blessed to me, when I call to mind
with humble shame & bowedness the grace 
bestowed upon me just 50 yrs ago, when
our Savr. graciously manifested himself
to me, and forgave me all my sins, wch
grace he has never failed to renew to my
hrt., whenever I craved a new look from
him. This yr. is also remarkable to me,
as tis just 25 yrs since I came to the dr.
Congn in Fulneck, where I have enjoyed
so many blessings from our Savior in
fellowship with the same. How often has
