the Directory resided, and I arrived in London
on Febr. 10th. 1768. Notwithstanding all difficulties 
in learning the language, my Savior owned
me graciously, and gave me to feel his peace,
and to enjoy the Love & Confidence of my sisters,

and likewise the Love of all the other Brn

rs. In 1769 I was present at the Synod at
Marienborn, and in 1771, I was called to Ful-
-rede
to take upon me the internal & external
Care of the House and Choir of the Widows there
I was well aware of all the difficulties attending
upon these 2 offices; but the circumstances of
the House requiring it, I ventured to accept
of them, trusting in my dear Lord & Savior,
who had hitherto always assisted me. I arrived
here Octr. 25th. and moved into this dear house
with fervent prayer to our dr. Savr., that he wd.
furnish me with the necessary grace to do that
with a believing & chearful  cheerful hrt. to wch he had
called me, and he had never denied me his
assistance, but often put me to shame. In
1777 I recieved  received the acct. of the happy departure
of my dr. Mother. It gave me great pleasure,
that 2 yrs before her end in her 84th year, she
