thy will? Having obtained clearness in this,
however contrary it was to flesh & blood,
& going to communicate my sentiments
to my dr wife I found that she had been
praying like me, & likewise obtained
a willing mind to sacrifice every earthly
consideration. We then with many tears
solemnly
covenanted with each other
before the Lord to be his obedient servants
Children, & tho' we could not comprehend
this dispensation, we would pray that in
quietness, & confidence might be our
strength. Novr 14th 1799 I made known
our call to the Congn & the impressions with
which this account was received by the Brn
& Srs made it very evident that close ties
of Brotherly love had united us together,

When I take a view of our abode of 7
years in Bath, & the experience I have
had of our dr Lord's grace & support I
scarcely know what to say, for tho' sin-
nerlike contrition numberless times
led me to the mercy seat yet gratitude
constrains me to declare that the lan-
guage of my heart is: Bless the Lord
