Love because I experienced great pa-
tience from my good Savior which produc-
ed gratitude for every mercy & especially
for the experiences I gained by occasion of
the various trials I had to pass thro'. Thus
on taking a retrospective view of the time
spent in this Congn I found abundant
more reason to rejoice, than to complain.
The unfeigned love of the Brn & Srs which
often strengthened me in time of tribula-
tion, had left a pleasing impression upon
my mind. With inexpressible feelings
I
parted with the Brn & Srs to whom I
felt united in the best of bonds. Towards
the middle of May 1790 I arrived again
in England, & in Fulneck entered into
marriage with the single Sr Elizth
White
, whom I took as from the hands of
my dr Lord, & with whom, blessed be his
name, I have lived in such heart's fellow-
ship to this day (Jan. 4th 1807) as calls
forth my deepest gratitude, she having
proved what I earnestly prayed for, a devo-
ted handmaid of the Lord. In June we set
