the Single Brn at Gracehill in the North
of Ireland. I accepted this second call as co-
ming from our Savior & with a willing mind.
Being conscious of many mistakes I closed
my services in Fulneck with many prayers
for absolving grace, & the heartfelt impres-
sions of my Lord's tender love & mercy were
so powerful, that if I had had a thousand
hearts I could willingly & cheerfully have
rendered them to him. July 4th I was ordain-
ed in presence of the Fulneck Congn a Dea-
con of the Brn's Church by Br Traneker.
After having taken leave a tender leave of
the Sing. Brns Choir I set out the 19th on
my journey & voyage to Ireland. I spent
a week in Dublin, which was a great refresh-
ment to my heart. Augst 6th I arrived in
Gracehill & was put to shame by the looing
reception I met with. Being blessed for my
office by Br Taylor, I entered upon it with
the sincere desire to be acceptable to my
dear Lord, & with the full assurance that
he would grant me strength according
to my day. I had indeed severe trials
