I am born 1723. the 23th. of May at Reichstone where
my Vater was Rector of the School. He & my Mother
had destin'd me from my Youth to the Lord & were very 
sorry to keep me back from all ungodly & to animate
me to every Thing what's just & right. But this was
a hardship to one & the tender Work of God, o dear!
soon sized in my Heart. In the College at Breslau, I
found Liberty, never did Care for God or godly, &
followed the Inclination of which my marred Heart
dictateth. I very well feeld  felt as often as I was to go
to the Comunion  Communion a internal Call to give my Heart
